He is the recipient of many awards and honors, including a National Endowment for the Arts grant that supported travel in Japan, Italy, and England to study bookbinding and paper making.
DISPLAY OF ARTIST BOOKS AND POETRY:This exhibition will be displayed at The University of Puget Sound Collins Memorial Library and will include the work of book artists, poets, scientists and environmental educators. We will reproduce the poems as computer-printed broadsides and display them on the walls and in cases. Puget Sound's rich abundance of life - from mammals to birds - can be attributed to the fact that the region is far more than just a body of water. Edged by an extraordinary range of habitats, this region is visited and occupied year-round by species that are finely tuned to exploit the resources here that are necessary for their survival/5(4).

The Puget Sound Book Artists is a (c)(3) organization. Our board meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month from - pm in the Archives Seminar Room on the second floor of Collins Library, the University of Puget Sound, unless otherwise noted.
Puget Sound Book Artists (PSBA) is a nonprofit organization comprised of individuals from all areas of the book arts field for the purpose of creating a spirit of community among book artists and those who love books.

The Guild still believes, as did its founders, that there is a responsibility among civilized people to sustain the crafts involved with the production of fine books. Its members hope to broaden public awareness of the hand book arts, to stimulate commissions of fine bindings, and to stress the need for sound book conservation and restoration.

Puget Sound Book Artists is full of all types, and so is this show — established, professional artists who create museum-quality work alongside those who are still learning all about it. The Puget Sound Book Artists Eighth Annual Members’ Exhibition at Collins Library, University of Puget Sound offers 57 unique and original books by 36 different artists displayed in a dozen glass cases in the library.
